Jimmy Fallon opened a comedy club in NYC

Let's hope he is better at running a club than he was at keeping a straight face during his skits on SNL.

Lollapalooza-mania in Chicago

My good friend Beth convinced me to go to Lollapalooza this past weekend. And what a blast it was! Some of the bands were amazing - Pixies, Dino Jr., ARCADE FIRE, Weezer, Kasabian, and more! I met some good new peeps (Melanie, Zoe, David, Jimmy, Tom, Chris, Forest, Duke, Gabriel, etc.), saw some old good peeps (Nadine, Jason, Chris, Courtney, Merlin, Mark, etc.) and I partied until the wee hours both nights.

You can check out tons of photos in the links below from the festival and the after-parties - but be warned - there is some nudity in some shots. No, not me. I am not that stupid.

I did miss this kick-off party on Friday night that Beth put together...too bad...since it looked like fun!

Shots from Day One at Lollapalooza. Look for a shot that features my friend Zoe’s kick-ass strappy leather boots and my kermit green wedges...

More from Day One.

Sweet party in NYC

Thanks to my friend Lauren, I ended up at a Virgin Mobile party at Sky Studios just down the block from my office. This 3 floor penthouse suite is unbelievable! I was there before for a magazine party last year and a video shoot the year before. It has an outdoor rooftop pool and amazing rooms. The party was fun! Dita Von Teese did a burlesque performance and Adrien Grenier from Entourage played a set with his band The Honey Brothers. I hate to say it but the band is not very good. But I gave them a chance. I rode the elevator down with Adrien when we were leaving and I lied through my teeth and told him it was a good show. What is a girl to do when she is looking at his cute face? I also spotted Adam Brody from the O.C. there. He was acting very low key. If you click on the link above in the title you can see photos from the folks there.

This is an excellent MP3 blog to hear music - bookmark it

Howard Stern pulls a good prank!

I wonder what David Lee Roth thinks of all this?

Poor Dave Grohl!

He's a killer drummer in my opinion - one of the best!

Rockin' and rollin'

It was a gorgeous night in New York last night. I went to see Broken Social Scene open for the legendary Dinosaur Jr. and it rocked! Click on the link above for some photos. I managed to get backstage and stood next to Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore by the side of the stage. I also spotted Matt Dillon after the show. He apparently directed some early Dino Jr. videos.

I think the woman really is brainwashed!

You have to read this article with Katie (or should I say Kate) Holmes. It's truly unbelievable how she just recites the same things over and over again about her relationship with Tom Cruise.

I saw Batman Begins over the weekend and she really was the weakest thing in the movie. Maybe she should just concentrate on being Mrs. Cruise.
