Check out his awesome quote on the reunited band Anthrax:

Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters) - “Anthrax? The cover of ‘Fistful Of Metal’ says it all. I bought that f***er when it came out in ’84, without even hearing so much as a note. They haven’t disappointed me since. Unmistakable riffs, mindf*** drumming and classic songs - they’ve opened too many doors to mention. Badasses. They are better than your band.”

Bands...bands...and more bands

Sunday night I went to APT to see Hot Chip DJ. Met the lads and their label guy Stephen from Moshi Moshi Records. Fun time! Then on Monday, I went with Lauren to a listening party for the new Daft Punk album and then off to Rothko to see Hot Chip and Maximo Park. It was awesome. Both bands killed it. It was the first US show for both bands. Then Tuesday night I went to see Doves. They were stellar. What a great band. I interviewed the band for 'Sup magazine so I went back stage after to say 'hello'. Also had a beer with my mate Duncan before leaving the Bowery Ballroom. Life in NYC is super sweet.
