Is this "Evil"?

Interpol's new video. So bad that it's good? I can't quite decide...

Natasha Lyonne in trouble with the law

I've met her a couple of times since one of my LA friends moved to NY to live with her but it didn't work out...she can be quite a handful...I've seen it first hand...check this out.

"American Pie star Natasha Lyonne was arrested at her New York city home last Friday after rowing with a neighbor and threatening their dog. According to reports, the 25-year-old actress burst into her neighbor's Manhattan apartment at 11pm, yelling abuse and tearing a mirror from the wall before grabbing and threatening their dog. Other tenants at the building called police, who arrested Lyonne. The actress was fined $729 and banned from driving for six months in 2002 after pleading guilty to driving under the influence."

Have you heard this one? Beastie Boys and Beatles mash-up

My friend and roomie-to-be Fiona writes for US Weekly. She took me to the ELLEGIRL's 2nd Annual Music and Fashion Party to Celebrate the "50 Hottest Rockers" Issue at Angel Orensanz Foundation in the Lower East Side. It was fun. I met a young up and coming actress named Arielle Kebbel. She was lovely. This is a shot of Fiona, Arielle, Tammy from ELLEGIRL and myself taken at the after party on the rooftop of the Delancey bar. Rock on.

This should put you in the holiday spirit

Happy holidays from the Strokes!

Best-selling rapper Jay-Z, aka Shaun Carter, has finally signed on the dotted line to take the role of president at Def Jam Recordings. The deal, rumored for months but officially executed early Wednesday, is for three years, a knowledgeable source says. Jay-Z will report to Island Def Jam Music Group president and CEO Antonio "LA" Reid. Universal Music Group's IDJMG simultaneously announced that it had acquired the remaining 50% in Roc-A-Fella Records, which is co-owned by Jay-Z, Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke.

from one of my fave website features Gawker Stalker

Anonymous said: "I went to Rothko on Sat. night (12/4) for the Vice Records showcase, and who should I see there but Kelly Osbourne. So bizarre...I didn't recognize her at first because she had these weird hair extensions and was wearing her hair in one of the 1985-style side ponytails. Apparently she is dating one of the dudes from Death From Above 1979, and is clearly trying to resurrect any sort of potential indie credibility after dating with that douchebag from The Used."
